Ang Babaeng Humayo Starring Charo Santos-Concio

After spending her time to manage the whole ABS-CBN Corporation, Charo Santos-Concio filmed her latest movie after stepping down as the President of the said corporation. "The Woman Who Left" in English translation, was filmed in Charo's hometown, Calapan, Oriental Mindoro.

According to the director, Lav Diaz, his insights to the book " God Sees the Truth, But Waits" of Leo Tolstoy made him resonate that 'life is not understood by anyone and that more often people "abide and succumb to life's randomness."

Diaz said that the film was not intended for film festivals, but inevitably invited to compete for  73rd Venice International Film Festival where it won the Golden Lion. This film was the only entry from an all the Asian Countries.

This film was released in Venice last September 9, 2016 and will be featured in Philippine Cinemas this coming September 28, 2016.

PLOT: After being released from prison, Horacia Somorostro (Charo Santos-Concio), went back home and crashed for knowing the incidents happened to his family. Later did she know that her ex-lover planned her imprisonment and later plan for her revenge to his removed privileges of her own.
